Before I ever stitched a garment or cut a pattern, I was a little girl stealing sheets of A4 fax paper from my dad’s home office, filling every inch with sketches of women in gowns and wild ideas. That’s where my love for fashion illustration was born.

Drawing was my first language as a designer. Over the years, those early illustrations grew into fully realized garments — and today, while I work as a fashion designer, I continue to illustrate. It keeps me grounded, curious, and connected to the roots of my creativity.

My fashion illustration work has been published in Essence and commissioned by fashion houses including Calvin Klein, Willy Chavarria, and Fendi. I’m currently accepting custom illustration commissions and will soon be releasing a curated series of prints. Whether you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind piece or want to collect work that captures the spirit and motion of fashion, I’d love to share this side of my practice with you.

feature (March 2023 issue), which honored legendary makeup artist Sam Fine and his impact on Black beauty. The editorial celebrated his iconic work with muses like Janet Jackson and Mary , highlighting his signature techniques and timeless influence. My illustrations brought his most unforgettable beauty moments to life — using expressive lines and rich tones to reflect the elegance, precision, and artistry that define his legacy.

"Fashion Is One of the Strongest Forms of Memory" – Essence Magazine

I illustrated Essence’s reflective essay “Fashion Is One of the Strongest Forms of Memory” by Dominique Fluker (December 2023). The piece explored how clothing preserves personal and generational identity, particularly within Black families. My illustrations visually echoed the themes of nostalgia, heritage, and self-expression — drawing on texture, silhouette, and gesture to honor the emotional legacy woven into what we wear.
