Essie Buckman is a British-Ghanaian womenswear designer and creative director based in New York. A graduate of Central Saint Martins, her work explores the intersection of fashion, sport, culture and contemporary design.

With experience across Nike, Calvin Klein and Under Armour, her practice spans creative direction, concept development and commercial product design. Her work combines a distinct visual perspective with an understanding of craftsmanship, innovation and the evolving relationship between fashion and its cultural landscape.

Alongside her work with global brands, Buckman maintains an independent creative practice encompassing bespoke design, fashion illustration and multidisciplinary collaborations.
